The Green chip allows the Mosquito to run continuously all the time power is provided to the unit. If using a timer to trigger the Mosquito, a Green chip is the best option. If using a remote control to trigger the Mosquito or simply plugging in and unplugging from a wall socket to activate / deactivate the Mosquito, don’t forget that the unit will continue to run UNTILL the remote is used to turn it off or the unit is unplugged.
